CEDEG CZ–SK CISO Club in Prague: A Meeting of Cybersecurity Leaders
On 19 October 2026, CEDEG hosted another meeting of the CEDEG CZ–SK CISO Club in Prague, bringing together senior cybersecurity leaders, IT managers, and representatives of leading companies and organizations from across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The meeting focused on a topic that is rapidly reshaping the cybersecurity landscape: the growing role of artificial intelligence in network management, data protection, and security operations.
Through expert presentations and open discussion, participants explored how organizations can navigate this evolving environment and prepare for the next generation of cybersecurity threats.
AI in Network Management, Data Protection, and Security Operations
The programme featured three expert presentations addressing different aspects of the intersection between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
AI-Powered Network Management
Peter Majerčák | Extreme Networks
Corporate networks are becoming increasingly complex, making effective management and rapid incident detection more challenging than ever. AI offers new possibilities for monitoring network performance, identifying anomalies, and detecting potential problems before they affect end users. Peter Majerčák explored how artificial intelligence is transforming enterprise network management and raised an important question for the future: How far are we from truly autonomous networks capable of identifying and resolving problems independently?
Protecting Data in the Age of AI
Petr Kunstát | Thales
Corporate data is no longer accessed exclusively by human users. AI models and autonomous agents are increasingly interacting with sensitive information, often in ways that traditional security mechanisms were not designed to address. Petr Kunstát examined the evolving challenges of data protection in AI-driven environments, highlighting the importance of securing information flows between users, AI models, and data sources. As AI becomes more deeply integrated into business processes, organizations must rethink how they protect sensitive data throughout its entire lifecycle.
Cybersecurity in the Era of Autonomous AI Agents
Peter Lechman | Splunk
Autonomous AI agents are increasingly becoming part of the modern digital workforce. However, their effectiveness and security depend on the quality of the data and context available to them. Peter Lechman highlighted the importance of data platforms as a foundation for security in the age of AI agents. Reliable, well-managed data enables organizations to improve visibility, understand emerging risks, and support more informed security decisions as autonomous systems become more prevalent.
Beyond Technology: Building a Trusted Cybersecurity Community
While technology was at the centre of the programme, the value of the CISO Club extends beyond technical solutions. The club provides an exclusive environment where senior cybersecurity professionals can exchange practical experience, discuss real-world challenges, and learn from peers facing similar responsibilities. Its open and trusted format encourages candid conversations that are often difficult to have outside a professional peer community.
Knowledge sharing, trusted relationships, and collaboration are at the heart of the CEDEG CISO Club. By bringing together decision-makers and experts from across the region, CEDEG helps strengthen the cybersecurity community and create opportunities for future cooperation.
SAVE THE DATE: Next CISO Club Meeting – 19 November 2026
We would also like to invite you to the next CISO Club meeting, which will once again take place at Truhlárna in Prague on 19 November. Further details about the event and the full programme will be available on our website soon.
Thank you for being part of the CEDEG CISO Club community. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!

Napotkałem to po rekomendacji na krakowskim subreddicie po jedenastej w nocy. Moją uwagę przykuł przemyślany wpis opisujący casino moneymoon połączony z praktycznymi uwagami na temat kontrastu w tabelach danych i intensywności tła w polskim interfejsie.
